Application of Resin Bike’s stickers
How to properly apply motorcycles’ and scooters’ stickers
Tips and techniques for preparing chassis’ surface and applying stickers
It’s crucial that the surfaces on your motorcycle where you’ll apply your resin stickers are thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Plus, it’s essential to AVOID USING DENATURED ALCOHOL OR SILICONE-BASED PRODUCTS.
The choice of cleaner depends on the specific parts where the stickers will be applied:
- For porous plastic surfaces like handguards, mirrors, and fenders, it’s best to use a universal degreaser.
- For plexiglass parts such as windshields, a glass cleaner is recommended.
- For chassis parts or smooth surfaces, a general-purpose cleaner works well.
Allow enough time for the surface to dry completely. Ensure that any alcohol residues have fully evaporated.
Apply the sticker carefully, ensuring it is perfectly aligned with the contours of the vehicle. Avoid repeatedly repositioning the sticker, as this can weaken the adhesive grip over time. We recommend starting applying one side and gently smoothing out any air bubbles as you work towards the other side.
