Our beautiful country offers a wide variety of landscapes and routes to discover its beauties on two-wheels. However, there are some truly must-see spots that a biker shouldn\u2019t miss. Let\u2019s see where they are. <\/p>\n\n

1. Sardegna <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

This awesome island offers several really stunning routes by motorcycle. Extremely famous for its views, the road from Bosa to Alghero<\/strong> consists of 50 km of emotions surrounded by the sea and greenery with turns overhanging the sea and breathtaking landscapes. This itinerary is a candidate to become a UNESCO Heritage Site – one more reason not to miss it! <\/p>\n\n

2. Sicilia <\/h4>\n\n

How could we not mention the Mareneve<\/strong>, the regional road connecting Linguaglossa to Mount Etna? This fully paved route is packed with hairpin turns of varying degrees and difficulty. A black ribbon of asphalt winding through pristine nature and the fragrant Mediterranean scrub, where on one side you can admire the blue sea and on the other, the majestic volcanic landscape of Mount Etna. These unique features make the Mareneve road a must-ride experience at least once in a lifetime. <\/p>\n\n

3. Aquila <\/h4>\n\n

If you get to cross this region, you can’t miss Campo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Imperatore<\/strong>, a plateau located in the heart of the Gran Sasso massif. This area offers breathtaking landscapes, earning it the nickname “Little Tibet,” as famously described by renowned mountaineer Fosco Maraini. <\/p>\n\n

4. Campania <\/h4>\n\n

Here, you can visit the Amalfi Coast<\/strong>, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1197. It\u2019s one of the gems of Campania. There\u2019s a fully paved road where bikers can have much fun riding through sharp and long turns. The Amalfi Coast winds through truly unique natural landscapes along a nearly 150 km itinerary. Highly recommended is a visit to Positano<\/strong>, a stunning cliffside town in the province of Salerno that rises vertically above the sea, making it a sought-after tourist destination. Another must-see stop is Amalfi<\/strong>, a charming town worth exploring, starting with the Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle, and full of delicious local treats to try. The final destination is Ravello<\/strong>, where you can take in breathtaking views of the stunning gulf. <\/p>\n\n

5. Toscana\/Emilia Romagna <\/h4>\n\n

The Passo del Muraglione<\/strong> is a well-known stepover among bikers, that\u2019s why<\/p>\n\n

we couldn\u2019t skip it. This pass is located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine and better known as via Artusiana<\/strong>. It\u2019s a 40 km route with plenty of turns that goes from Tuscany to Emilia-Romagna passing through enchanting landscapes. It\u2019s the perfect trip for those seeking adventure without too much difficulty. <\/p>\n\n

6. Toscana <\/h4>\n\n

A moderately challenging route can be found on the road connecting Bagno a Ripoli and Siena<\/strong>. It stretches for 70 kilometers, alternating between asphalt and gravel, winding through picturesque rural landscapes. Highly recommended is the Chiantigiana<\/strong>, leading to Volpaia, a medieval village worth visiting, along a road full of hairpin turns with a 15% incline. The journey wouldn\u2019t be complete without a final stop in Siena<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n

7. Lombardia <\/h4>\n\n

The Stelvio Pass<\/strong>: a difficult route, but it\u2019s precisely for this reason that it\u2019s a source of great satisfaction! You leave from Bormio and, after several turns of varying difficulty, you\u2019ll get to Prato allo Stelvio. It\u2019s an adventure you experience at 3000 meters above the sea level, which makes it one of the highest Italian passes driveable by vehicle. Considering the harsh weather conditions, we highly recommend covering this route during the warm season. <\/p>\n\n

8. Lazio <\/h4>\n\n

Lake Bracciano<\/strong> stands out for its unique beauty, also thanks to its amazing castle by the lake. The road to reach this magical place is not far behind – an easy route also suitable for less experienced bikers, but by no means less exciting. <\/p>\n\n

9. Umbria <\/h4>\n\n

Marmore falls<\/strong>, located 7 km from Terni, offers a breathtaking sight. It\u2019s the highest man-made European waterfall and among the highest worldwide with a vertical drop of 165 meters. A must-see spot. The route to get there is quite challenging, full of turns into the region\u2019s pristine forests. <\/p>\n\n

10. Veneto <\/h4>\n\n

A nearly 74 km route through Venetian landscapes with plenty of vineyards connecting Bassano del Grappa to Vittorio Veneto<\/strong>. On the way, you can stop in various towns that must be visited, such as Asolo, Valdobbiadene, and Molinetto della Croda, which has a mill with a 12 meters waterfall.<\/p>\n\n
