How to properly apply stickers for motorcycles and scooters. Tips and techniques for preparing chassis’ surface and applying stickers

• È importante che le superfici su cui verranno applicati gli adesivi resinati della tua moto siano pulite e sgrassate correttamente, avendo cura di NON USARE ALCOOL DENATURATO o PRODOTTI A BASE SILICONICA. La scelta del detergente dipende anche dalle parti su cui andranno applicati gli adesivi.
  • for porous plastic surfaces like handguards, mirrors, and fenders, it’s advisable to use a universal degreaser.
  • for plexiglass parts like the windscreen, a specific glass cleaner can be used.
  • for body parts or smooth surfaces, a universal cleaner can be used.
• Allow enough time for the surface to dry completely. Ensure that any alcohol residues have fully evaporated.
• Handle the sticker only by the edges, avoiding contact with the adhesive side.
• Apply the sticker carefully, ensuring its position and alignment with the shape of the vehicle. Avoid “sticking and unsticking” actions, which could compromise the adhesive over time. We recommend starting from one side and gently removing any air bubbles as you move towards the opposite side.
• After applying the sticker, use warm air from a hairdryer to help it adhere properly. We suggest not using or washing your motorcycle for at least 24 hours.
